  • Overview

    We are looking for a talented Planner, who can give advice on planning and land use to a variety of clients including leading retailers, house builders, developers and investment institutions as well as local planning authorities.


    Ideally you will have 1-2 years’ experience working on projects across a range of sectors.


    You will have proven experience and will be given exposure to the following work areas: planning applications; site appraisals; planning strategies; development plan representations and providing advice and guidance to clients throughout all stages of the planning process.

    Successful candidates will be able to show an excellent standard of written and spoken English, with good analytical skills and interpersonal skills. The role will also require working on a number of projects, so a proven ability to manage your own time, workload and problem solve is critical.  An enthusiasm to develop your skills in marketing, innovation and winning new work is also key and you will be supported in this area of work.


    Minimum requirements are:

    • at least 2:1 at first degree level
    • RTPI accredited town planning qualification.  (A RICS accredited qualification (planning & development route) would also be acceptable). This will be at Master’s level.
    • Working towards your full RTPI or RICS membership
