    Looking for the next challenge in your planning career?  We are looking for a talented Senior Planner, who can give advice on planning and land use to a variety of clients including leading retailers, house builders, developers and investment institutions as part of a team of experienced professionals.


    Ideally, you will have experience working on a range of housing, retail and mixed use projects.

    You will have proven experience in the following work areas: planning applications and appeals; site appraisals; planning strategies; development plan representations and providing advice and guidance to clients throughout all stages of the planning and development process.


    You will be able to show an excellent standard of written and spoken English, with good analytical skills and interpersonal skills.


    The role will require working on a number of projects, so a proven ability to manage your own time, workload and problem solve is critical.  At Senior Planner level, you can also expect some management responsibilities for people and projects.


    You will also be able to demonstrate the skills required to market, win new work and innovate as these are important elements of the role.


    Minimum requirements are:

    • at least 2.1 at first degree level
    • RTPI accredited town planning qualification.  A RICS accredited qualification (planning & development route) would also be acceptable.  This will be a Master's level.
    • MRTPI / MRICS (Planning and Development)
    • c. 5 years' experience (preferable in private practice)
